Nathan Craig hails from a family farm in Western Victoria where he spent the first seven years of his career as farm manager on their mixed enterprise (sheep and crop) farm. He has a strong background in annual and perennial pasture management, livestock production as well as the development of a cropping enterprise that worked synergistically with the pasture system. Nathan has recently completed a PhD at UWA on “Plant available nitrogen in monoculture wheat under long-term no tillage”

Brianna grew up on a farm east of Ballidu where her family runs an intensive piggery, sheep and cropping program. She has a Bachelor in Agricultural Business Management with Charles Sturt University in Northam. Brianna is particularly interested in ways of incorporating sheep enterprise back into the farming industry to further develop the positive aspects of having livestock and cropping enterprises within a farming business.

Former Margaret River local, Kirra completed a Journalism Major (BA) at Curtin University in Perth in 2015. Kirra worked for an international property firm and an accounting agency where she gained extensive experience in office administration, marketing and public relations. Kirra moved to Dandaragan in early 2018 and is enjoying learning about and working within the agricultural industry.

Long-time local, Brinley’s family are fourth generation Moora farmers. Brinley studied music and became a music teacher as there were more than enough brothers to take on the family farm. Brinley worked in Local Government Administration for a few years in Dandaragan, then left the workforce to become a mum. After focusing on her two beautiful children as a stay at home mum, Brinley is now back in the workforce and enjoying being involved in the agricultural industry.

Nadine has more than 15 years of accounts and administration experience. She has a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping, is a member of the Australian Bookkeepers Association and a Registered BAS Agent.
Tracey is a freelance journalist, who previously worked for The West Australian, WA Business News and Financial Times publications. Tracey is based in Dandaragan and manages her family’s farming business, Dandaragan Organic Beef. She has a Bachelor of Communications/Journalism and is a WMG member.

Dr Bill Bowden has 40 year’s of experience with plant and soil research, development and extension with DAFWA. He has a BSc(Agric) (UWA 1965) and a PhD soil chemistry. Bill has been awarded the Reserve Bank fellowship on fertiliser dissolution, placement and effectiveness, Donald medallist and GRDC Seed of Light award. Bill has spent his career developing soil fertility and fertiliser recommendation systems for crops and pastures in WA.

Dr Bryon Micke has 40 year’s of experience as a veterinarian in the Western Midlands with a special interest in on-farm animal production. He is also a local farmer and has a self-replacing merino ewe flock.
